Welcome to Hosierydirect. Hosierydirect.co.uk is owned and operated by Hosierydirect Ltd (referred to in these terms as “Hosierydirect”, “us”, “our” and “we”). We provide access to the Hosierydirect.co.uk website (“Website”) and sell our products to you subject to the conditions set out on this page.
Please read these conditions carefully before using the website as by using the website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions. You might also like to print a copy so that you can remind yourself what you agreed to.
Terms of Sale
When placing an order you are purchasing a product on and subject to the following terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible. Please see our notice for further information. In order to contract with Hosierydirect Ltd you must be over 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. Hosierydirect Ltd retains the right to refuse any request made by you. If your order is accepted we will inform you by email and we will confirm the identity of the party which you have contracted with. When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of foreign products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes.
When you use the website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer and preventing unauthorised access to your account. Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and let us know immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. Hosierydirect Ltd reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.
When you place an order to purchase a product from Hosierydirect Ltd, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order including cost of delivery. You can find out more about delivery costs here.
Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we despatch that product to you and is confirmed by an email we send to you confirming that we have despatched the goods (the ‘Despatch Confirmation Email’). Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Despatch Confirmation Email do not form part of that contract.

All content included on this website, such as photographs, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images and software, is the property of Hosierydirect Limited, its affiliates or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws in England and Internationally.
Hosierydirect and its exclusive brands, logos and imageries indicated on our website are trademarks or registered trademarks of Hosierydirect and may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not ‘Hosierydirect’, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, disparages or discredits Hosierydirect Limited.
Pricing and Availability
The availability information for products sold are included on each product information page. Please note that we cannot guarantee despatch dates and all despatch dates given are estimates. In the event that the product you ordered is unavailable we will let you know by email.
We describe every item on our website as accurately as we can. However, occasionally product descriptions or pricing errors occur. If after you have submitted your order we discover such an error or the item ordered becomes unavailable, we will do our best to inform you at the earliest opportunity. You may then choose whether to proceed with your order or cancel it. If we cannot contact you, we may treat your order as cancelled.
When ordering goods from Hosierydirect Ltd for delivery outside of the UK the recipient may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are payable once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges must be borne by the recipient and Hosierydirect Ltd cannot advise on any customs taxes.
We would like our international customers to note that we are obliged to declare the full value of goods on all packages shipped outside the EU and all cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
If delivery can’t be completed due to unpaid import duties, when the parcel comes back to us a £20 fee may be deducted from your refund to cover the return charges and fees that we’re billed by the carrier.
Delivery and Returns

Exchanges and refunds
During 14 days following the delivery of your order, you may request the exchange or refund of items, which you must return to us in perfect condition accompanied by the original invoice. Returns will only be accepted if labels and original packaging are fully intact. Hosierydirect Ltd cannot accept returns where labels have been removed. Products purchased on sale (discounted price) are not eligible for return or exchange. You are responsible for the shipping of returned items back to Hosierydirect Ltd. Items lost in transportation will not be compensated for. Shipping charges on returned merchandise are at the customer’s expense. However, Hosierydirect Ltd will not charge additional shipping on exchanges. All exchanges are subject to availability. Refunds for returned merchandise will be made within two weeks of the return of the product, to the original purchaser’s credit card or payment method. Note that additional duties and/or taxes will not be refunded. Neither will shipping costs, as mentioned above. For countries within the EU, VAT will be included in the refund.
Faulty items after review and conclusion of reflecting production issues, will be exchanged to the same type of product in the same size, subject to availability, or refunded. Refunds for faulty items can be made within the 14-day period following delivery. All products purchased during our final sale are not eligible for return or exchange. Exchanges and returns can only be made as described in HosieryDirect Ltd instructions, which can be found in your confirmation e-mail.
We operate Monday to Friday and not on public holidays. When your order is placed we will send you a confirmation of the purchase. Once your package is shipped we will send you an email with final confirmation and instructions. Most orders are shipped standard mail. Depending on the intended ship-to location, orders can be subject to other shipping methods and the specific warehouse processing the order may utilize tracking. Applicable orders will have the tracking reference provided in the shipping confirmation email. Our appointed courier partners in each region deliver all orders. Uncollected items are subject to 20 USD, 15 EURO, 1500 JPY, 12GBP, 15 AUD, 20 CHF, 18 CAD, 150 SEK, 120 DKK or 150 NOK will be charged for uncollected items if the package is to be re-sent. Incorrect contact details will be subject to an extra charge of 20 USD, 15 EURO, 1500 JPY, 12GBP, 15 AUD, 20 CHF, 18 CAD, 150 SEK, 120 DKK or 150 NOK will be charged for returned deliveries caused by entering incorrect or insufficient contact details. Orders to countries outside USA, JAPAN and EU may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country.
When you visit Hosierdirect.co.uk or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the website.
For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that those communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and subjected to exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
